I have been so busy these past few days I forgot to add to my blog. I am now realizing that blogging is a commitment and it takes work and practice to be able to keep a blog updated with useful information. In one of my earlier posts I was talking about how to get started doing BPO's, property inspections and listing properties for Asset Management Companies. Well I got my first order to do a property inspection on a home today. I was extremely excited and as I went to log in to the Asset management Co's website to veiw the order I noticed they had a couple forms for me to fill out, print and fax. It took me all of 10 minutes to do all the paperwork and then I noticed a link that said (details/accept). When I clicked on the link a message came up that said, "this assignment is no longer available" I was devestated to say the least. I did not know that I was one of a handful of agents that got that same email and it was a race to see who could accept the assignment first. Well, lesson learned because when another one comes thru I will make sure I win the race. The consulation prize is that I know all the time I spent signing up with all those asset management companies was not in vain.
